Gentle climbing up to Epsom Downs via Oaks Park, Woodmansterne and Banststead. Return via Nonsuch Park to Carshalton. No really big hills and all the hard work is done in the first few miles!
Lovely circular route, with great views from the Downs on a clear day.
The route uses mainly quiet road and cyclepaths through parks, with a couple of short gravelly sections which may be less suitable for road bikes.
We'll be stopping at the cafe in Nonsuch park for coffee, cake and a chat.
Please ensure that your bike is in good working order and you have a spare inner tube and a drink. Helmets must be worn on this ride.
