A touristy ride to visit Camden Market and Granary Square around King’s Cross. We ride through a mix of cycling lanes with the odd busy roads when moving from one area to another. This is suitable for those who don’t have lots of experience with cycling in traffic and would like to give it a try as part of a group.
We set off through Kilburn towards Primrose Hill where we join the Regent’s Canal towpath until we reach Camden Market.
There we will have lots of options for a coffee (or more) before we carry on to King’s Cross.
We get out of the canal and ride around Camden for a little bit, soon reaching King’s Cross around Gasholder Park, along the canal again and around the lovely Granary Square. After stopping for some pictures, we start making our way back circling around Regent’s Park and back to Roundwood Park via Maida Vale.
Helmets aren't compulsory but highly advisable. Please wear a mask if entering a busy indoor space like a toilet or coffee shop, unless you are exempt.
Places are limited and sometimes get booked up with a waiting list. If you develop Covid-19 symptoms or have been told to self-isolate before the ride, or can't make it for any other reason, please ensure to cancel your space so someone else can join.
Unless the weather takes a nasty turn making it unsafe or unpleasant to cycle, this ride will go ahead even if it rains. Dress for the weather and bring a rain coat just in case.
