Breeze away the Cobwebs to Lilliesleaf

Meeting at the bottle bank, we'll pedal out Horsleyhill and towards Hassendean, heading straight on and taking a left towards Minto after we pass under the old railway bridge. As we approach Minto we'll take a left, and spin our legs as we take on the hill towards Standhill and beyond to Lilliesleaf where we'll be stopping for a well deserved warm up and refreshments/snacks. The Plough Inn will be open at 1030, so we should arrive in perfect time. There will be Bacon/Egg Rolls, scones or a selection of cakes to choose from, which will be just what you need to fuel you back to Hawick.

Please remember helmets and warm clothing for the weather on the day, any tools and inner tubes. If using an electric bike please make sure you have your battery charged and a plan for getting home if anything goes wrong. Please also make sure you have money for the Plough Inn too.
