Breeze across the Severn Bridge to Severn beach- Note start point Thornwell Football Club

Starting from - Follow M48 to Chepstow turnoff, at the roundabout before the bridge take the exit for Thornwell , taking 3rd exit on next roundabout , you will drive to the left of a Tesco express, this road is Denbigh drive and I've spotted a small carpark near Thornwell Football club - NP16 5GH is the nearest postcode to it. The carpark should be ok for us to leave our vehicles as the club opens at 7pm.
We will then cycle from here and pick up the cycle route over the bridge. Note: there is no toilet at the start of the ride!, NP16 5GH

This is a road based ride crossing the iconic Severn Bridge, fingers crossed for good weather or it can get very gusty. The ride is approx 22 miles in total with a coffee stop in Severn beach . We will make our way across the bridge to Severn beach and then head back through Olveston village, look out for the Buckingham palace style duck house!

Sadly the cafe is not open on Monday's however there is a bakery doing Drinks and sandwiches otherwise bring your picnic and we'll eat it on the seafront. There are public toilets available.
