Starting at - Main route starts at the little car park in Tenby Lane by Thornwell football club. Please note there are no toilets here. Leave the A466 at the motorway roundabout and go down Conway Drive. Take the 3rd exit (to the left of the Tesco Express) and follow the road. Tenby Lane is 2nd right. If you are doing the extended ride, our start point is the free CADW car park as you approach Caerwent village from the Newport direction. There are toilets here. The extended ride is about 31 miles leaving Caerwent at 10am. , NP16 5GH

Starting at - Albion Road, this is the road that runs parallel to the A472 from Pontypool to Crumlin. At the roundabout with the Steel structures on just below Pontypool Tesco, head towards Tesco then take the first left onto Albion Road, past the Unicorn Pub on the left, head towards Terry Howells builders yard and park anyway on the road on the right hand side before you reach the yard. there is plenty of street parking here. Please be aware that there is no toilet at the start point. Please allow time for a stop at Tesco's as we won't be stopping till we get to the café at Llanhilleth!, NP4 6LD

Starting at - Follow M48 to Chepstow turnoff, at the roundabout before the bridge take the exit for Thornwell , taking 3rd exit on next roundabout , you will drive to the left of a Tesco express, this road is Denbigh drive and I've spotted a small carpark near Thornwell Football club - NP16 5GH is the nearest postcode to it. The carpark should be ok for us to leave our vehicles as the club opens at 7pm.We will then cycle from here and pick up the cycle route over the bridge. Note: there is no toilet at the start of the ride!, NP16 5GHNOTE: I am starting from Magor Castle carpark for a fast 12 mile route out to Thornwell. If want to join me and extend this ride please let me know but be prepared for a fast cycle. Otherwise see you at Thornwell at 11am. , NP16 5TY
