Starting from - The main route starts from the free Woodstock Way car park in Caldicot. If coming from Newport direction, go past the Co-op and then straight over at the crossroad traffic lights. Turn left at the next junction and the car park is on the right just past the Grey Hill surgery. If coming from Chepstow direction, go over the roundabout and take the next right. Follow the road until you see a left turn by Marlow's vets. Turn here and follow the road past Aldi and the car park is on your left.
The longer route starts in Caerwent from the free CADW car park. This is on the main road through the village either as you enter or leave the village depending on your arrival direction.
There are toilets available at both start points. NP26 5AB

The main route heads out of Caldicot through the country park and then goes through Sudbrook to get us to Black Rock. After a brief stop here, we will head out to Crick and then Caerwent. From here it is back down into Caldicot through the park and out onto the back lanes to get us to Rogiet.
Once we have all enjoyed the tea and cake, it is back along the same lanes to return to Caldicot.
There is a longer route option starting at 10am from the CADW car park in Caerwent. This adds approx 10 miles onto the start as we loop around with a few bigger inclines to get us to the main start in Caldicot for 11am. Then there is another couple of miles or so at the end of the ride to get back to Caerwent.
So short route is approx 14 miles and the long route is 26 miles.

A gentle ride to get us from Caldicot to Susan's house for tea and cake to support the Breast Cancer Now charity. There is also an option for a longer route.

The route is fairly flat with just a few inclines (not really hills) and uses a combination of quiet lanes and cycle paths.

We will stop at Black Rock picnic site to look at the views and then the main stop is in Rogiet at Susan's house for tea and cake in the garden

Please make sure you are wearing a helmet and carrying a spare tube just in case. Some money for a charity donation would also be appreciated.

We especially welcome newbies!
