Starting point

London

From Ealing we ride down through Chiswick, Hammersmith, and Fulham, for a brief pause in Bishop’s Park. Riding on, we cross the river at Wandsworth Bridge, then follow the riverside path through Battersea Park.

We turn away from the river at Battersea Power Station, taking quiet roads to the Oval and then back to the river at Vauxhall Bridge. Here we explore two new public spaces created as part of the Tideway Super Sewer Project, the Isle of Effra and Effra Quay https://www.tideway.london/locations/effra-quay-isle-of-effra/ .

We will have a refreshment stop at the Tea House Theatre Café next to Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens https://www.teahousetheatre.co.uk/. Then we have only 5km/ 3 miles to ride to Blackfriars Bridge and up to Farringdon for train services home.
