Starting from - Meet in the Yorkshire Dales National Park car park. Parking is £6 for over 2 hours. If you arriving by train the train leaves Bingley at 8.37am and arrives at Clapham station at 9.29am. There will be only 2 bike spaces on the train so please tell me if you are getting the train. You'll need to cycle from the station to the car park for the start of the ride. LA2 8EF

We will cycle out of Clapham to Austwick, steadily following the road up to Helwith Bridge and Horton in Ribblesdale. Here we take the road to Ribblehead viaduct for a picnic stop. We cycle under the viaduct on a bridleway, return to the road and turn off to Chapel Le dale and descend into Ingleton. We take the old road and climb up and over back to Clapham.

A picnic and café ride, mainly on roads.

Mostly quiet roads. One short stretch on a farm track that can be avoided.

Picnic sop at Ribblehead viaduct and opportunity to get a cuppa at the station café.

Helmet, clothing for the weather conditions, money for parking/ train fare or a cuppa. A picnic and snacks. We will be out riding all day and there are limited shops.
