Community rides are for more experienced riders in mixed groups and will be faster and longer. If you are not confident of riding in a group or in areas with more traffic then please try a Breeze or Guided Ride first where no one is ever left behind. Rides will generally be on minor roads and country lanes and will include more hills. Leaders of Community rides do not have to be a Breeze or Guided Ride leader and rides are designed to be more like a ride with your pals. We will always have a coffee (cake?) and a chat at the end of the ride and on this ride there will also be a stop for refreshments at Ely.
This is quite a flat route but it is 32 miles and does involve some off-road sections through Wicken Fen - ideally you will have gravel/off road tyres, it is possible to do this on road tyres but not really recommended.
