Leaving Waterside we head over the bridge to Swanland and down to Melton and Welton before our first real climb up to Riplingham, then onto Raywell and Skidby before we reach our drinks/food stop.

After the cafe stop, we head out to Little Weighton and then head for Brantingham via Brantingham Hill, don’t worry this one is downhill, then we head for North Ferriby before ascending Swanland Hill back into Swanland from there we retrace our steps back to Barton.

A ride across the Humber Bridge and around East Yorkshire with a refreshment stop at the Folly Lake Cafe.

A steady but somewhat challenging hilly ride. Mainly quiet roads and cycle paths with some small sections on busier roads. This is not a Guided Ride, there is no bike check, all riders are responsible for their own safety and their bikes being roadworthy.

Stopping at Folly Lake Cafe.

Helmets are recommended, please ensure that you carry the means to fix a puncture along with cash/card for the café stop. It is advisable to carry a drink and snack to see you through the ride and wear appropriate clothing suitable for the anticipated weather.

First-timers are welcome but be confident that you are able to ride the distance and climb the hills. But in any case, no one gets left behind.
