A Leyland Variation

A circular route around West Lancashire. Leaving Leyland we head out to Charnock Richard via Euxton and onto Wrightington/Hilldale. We commence our return at Burscough heading back towards Eccleston via Mawdesley. We will take our lunch stop at Eccleston Delph Cafe, some 24 miles in. There are a couple of hills in the first half of the route so we will take further rest stops as and when necessary.
The total distance is 31 miles with 1450 feet of ascent.
The roads we will be riding are mainly quiet country roads but we do spend a short time on the A49 going from Euxton to Charnock Richard.
Given the time of year please dress accordingly to cover all eventualities and please be self sufficient for any potential roadside repairs.
