Trains arrive at 11:38 and 11.57

Starting at Steeton Station and finishing at Robert’s Park to hear Bradford Festival Choral Society sing popular choral classics such as the Hallelujah Chorus and O Fortuna from Carmina Burana. The choir are due to perform 3-4pm. A mix of hilly road sections and canal towpath.

We will head towards Skipton via Cononley and Bradley with a short section on the busy A road into Skipton but turning left by the hospital to return via quieter roads towards Cononley. From there we will cross the valley to Kildwick and then back over to Crosshills, Steeton and Utley using the road. At Utley we will use the bike lane to take us towards Riddlesden and then join the canal towpath to take us to Robert’s Park. The ride will finish at the Festival spending an hour enjoying some choral classics.

We will stop as necessary for snacks and to enjoy the views and to catch our breath. Picnic at the finish in the park.

Usual helmets, rain jacket and spares. Picnic for the end of the ride
