3 Cake Ride to Cullingworth and beyond

Join Judy and Lorraine for this hilly ride which includes a lunch stop at Spoons in Cullingworth. It's only 15 miles, but has 1500ft of climbing, so please bear this in mind when signing up.

We will head up the hill from Hirst Lock and through Nab Wood to Stoney Ridge. By-passing Wilsden we make our way up to Old Allen Road and then onto the Hewenden Viaduct towards our lunch break. Leaving Cullingworth, we climb up Keighley Road turning right at The Guide down to Rycroft, Harden and Bingley finding our way onto the towpath and back to Hirst Lock.

You know the drill: Roadworthy Bike, bring your own kit for minor repairs to both your bike and yourself. This should include a spare inner tube of the correct size. Appropriate clothes for the conditions (layers are best), a helmet please if possible. Please bring a few pennies, or means of making contactless payments if needs be.

There may be an e-bike or two, but we still ride at the pace of the slowest, and no one will be left behind.
