3 cake loop from Steeton

The start time of the ride coincides with a train from Bingley arriving at 10:14. We will meet at the small bus shelter close to platform 2 (the platform the train arrives at). There is a large free car park also available with an outdoor section as well as the multi storey section. (BD20 6TT)

We will ride up Station Rd to the traffic lights and turn right towards Airedale Hospital and then left through Sutton in Craven to Glusburn/Crosshils. We will then make our way to Cononley enjoying views towards Skipton before crossing the valley and heading to Skipton via Bradley. Our return route will be up and over back to Cononley and Kildwick where we can stop for a drink if people wish, before returning to the station.

A shorter but hilly 3 cake ride to develop hill climbing ability with lovely scenery in the Aire valley.

A road ride starting at Steeton and Silsden station. Short sections on main roads but mostly on less busy roads.

We can have a lunch/drink stop at the canal side cafe in Kildwick on our way back to Steeton station.

Helmets and your own kit for puncture repairs if possible.

This is a hilly route intended for those wanting to progress from flatter rides.
