Community ride to Out There Artisan and back

Meet at the Teviotdale Leisure Centre and take the Waverley Path into Burnfoot and out towards Denholm Beach, taking a right at Minto Cross Roads and the next left towards Ancrum. As you approach Ancrum, take the right junction which takes you to the main road where you'll have a brief moment crossing the road towards Harestanes where you can enjoy a cuppa and something to eat at Out There Artisan. There is also the option of Woodside too, which is just along the road.

Return to Denholm on the same road from Ancrum, but instead of heading towards Denholm Beach, go straight on, embracing Hassendean climb to Horsleyhill.

Please wear a helmet and gloves are advisable. Wear clothing for the weather and bring some water or anything you think you might need to keep your energy up. Please ensure your bike is in working order, your tyres are pumped up and you have spares or tools relevant to your bike. If you are using an e-bike, please ensure there is sufficient charge, and should you have a mechanical, you have a plan in place to get back to Hawick.
