25 mile Sibbertoft Sunday Teas ride (from Spratton)

This is a leisurely social ride, aiming for 11-12mph. We will aim to stay together as a group for the whole ride, and ride at the pace of the slowest rider. There are some challenging hills , but by starting at Spratton and making it 25 miles we can enjoy the views and stop to rest when needed (the tea room is only open from 230pm to 5, hence the slightly later departure)

The route takes us through Teeton, Guilsborough, Naseby, Welford, Sibbertoft, Naseby, Haselbech, Cottesbrooke, Creaton and back to Spratton

At just past the halfway point we will be stopping at the famous Sibbertoft Sunday teas, now in their 33rd year, held in the Reading Room, Berkeley Street (every Sunday 2.30-5.00 p.m). They only run from the first Sunday in April until the last Sunday in September, serving tea/coffee and delicious home-made cakes (at least one gluten/dairy free option each week) and offering a convivial meeting place where many regulars congregate, from locally and further afield.

Please bring a helmet (compulsory), spare tube and pump, and money for a drink.
