Darlington Active Travel Hub

Hello! We're the new Active Travel Hub in Darlington, set up by Sustrans, the walking and cycling charity. Our aim is to empower and support the local community to walk and cycle more in their daily lives, to gain the many mental and physical health benefits of active travel, as well as helping our environment by reducing car pollution. Every week, we have a beginner's guided ride on a Monday at 1pm, which is usually around 6 miles/10km long and lasts up to an hour at a gentle pace. On Tuesdays at 10am, we have our intermediate guided ride, which can be up to 15 miles/24km, and this usually lasts up to 2.5 hours at a gentle pace with breaks. Both of our rides are aimed at welcoming anyone interested in cycling around the local area, getting fit and healthy and meeting new people at the same time!
