Public Health Medway - Cycling Groups

Medway Active Cycling Groups are currently designed for adults and are suitable for all abilities, especially those returning to the love of two wheels. Our network of cycling rides are always developing using our local volunteer ride leaders, there is a route for everyone. Our routes are targeted at using the network of Cycle paths and cycling route we have around Medway and encouraging more people to be active through cycling. With routes varying between 4 and 8 miles as an entry level ride, you are sure to enjoy the many benefits of cycling. We are also proud to be offering a teach you to ride a bike for adults only. The Scheme will be to encourage you to ride a bike under your own esteem involving start and stopping. Progression will be on to one of our led rides with our ride leaders or onto our own local cycling instructor to develop your skills. We do advise your bike is in a road worthy condition and we strongly recommend you wear a helmet..
