Planes, Trains and Bicycles

This 16 mile circular route starts in the scenic Roberts Park, before heading out of the city. You'll pass Leeds/Bradford airport and, if you're lucky, watch the aeroplanes thunder overhead before heading for the BMX track at Yeadon where you might see riders getting airborne too! After all this excitement, what better way to unwind than a refreshment stop at the Woolpack pub in Esholt, location of ITV's Emmerdale, before heading back into town to the finish in Thackley. Other places of interest along the route include the watery expanse of Yeadon Tarn and the animal farm at Esholt. The route is all on-road and is hilly in places, but with so much to see and do, your efforts will be well-rewarded.
