Our first FITNESS ride for 2017! Our Fitness Rides are short loops (of about 4 miles) that we do several times. The aim is for each lap to get gradually quicker. Usually totally 16-20 miles. We start off at a comfortable 12mph and can finish on 15-16mph. ALL riders MUST be able to: Ride comfortably in a group (please come on one of our social rides first). Drink from a water bottle whilst riding along Comfortably follow a riders wheel in front There are no stops during the ride, but we tend to incorporate a pub stop at the end of the ride. What to bring along on a Fitness Ride: Bike! Lights Helmet Gloves Water and a snack Spare inner tube Pump Waterproofs Money for a drink afterwards!
