We will start in Tankerton and head out on the road towards Selling via Graveney. After passing through Selling, we will continue in the direction of Challock before descending White Hill. About halfway down the hill, we will turn left to join the off-road trail leading towards Chilham.

There will be an opportunity for a short coffee stop in Chilham, providing a chance to recover after some of the morning's climbs before continuing the ride.

From Chilham, we will pick up the Pilgrims Cycle Trail on the far side of the A28, between Chilham and Chartham, and follow it towards Canterbury. Entering the city, we will make our way around the outskirts via Queens Avenue and Westgate Court Avenue, before joining the path that skirts Dukes Meadow and Neals Meadow, climbing steadily towards the Water Tower at the top of Whitstable Road.

At this point, we will join the Crab and Winkle Way and remain on this traffic-free route all the way back to our starting point in Tankerton, completing a varied ride featuring quiet roads, off-road trails, scenic countryside, and some rewarding climbs along the way.
