We go on a very early ride to Primrose Hill to watch the sunrise on the day of the Winter Solstice. We then follow to Granary Square for coffee. Please note that you will need lights for the start of this ride as we leave in the pitch-black of the early mornings of December.
We reach Primrose Hill through Kilburn and push our bikes up to the top of the hill to wait for the sunrise. Bring layers for the cold and perhaps a blanket to sit on the grass as we will stay here for a minimum of 30 minutes. After the daylight settles in, we leave the park in the direction of Granary Square, where we will stop for coffee. Please bring bike locks for our stop.
On our way back, we cut through Broad Walk in Regent’s Park, and carry on to Roundwood Park through Maida Vale. We aim to be back before 11am.
If you find this ride fully booked, sign up to the waiting list as spaces always become available nearer the date. However, please do not sign up if you’re not sure you can come.
