Who's The Centurions - We Are! Well, you're going to have to be up early & be fit, healthy & raring to go. To really top off a wonderful season of riding we're going to visit some of our favourite places, roads & cafe's - Doing the magical 100 miles into the bargain! We'll go first up to Glasson Dock where we'll eat, then down & around to Thornton, right down the coast to Blackpool & down to Lytham. We'll stop for the obligatory Fish& Chips in Lytham before looping around up towards Kirkham, around Preston and back down to Leyland with a little loop & back to the starting point having conquered the 100 mile barrier! We'll need to get on with it as it's dark at 7pm, so lights please on this ride and an 8am Kick Off. We can't dawdle. We'll see on the day how many are riding & how we'll ride. We may ride as one group, or split into two. Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone. I'm a SkyRide Ride Leader leading guided rides & I'm also a trained route planner - I enjoy my cycling & appreciate it even more when I have people to ride with. Our group is called the FC's - Friendly Cyclists & you can read all about us & join the group here: https://www.goskyride.com/SCG/GroupDetails?GroupID=2197 Once you join the group you'll get an automatic invite for every ride, you will never miss a ride again!
