Whizzing to Wheelton

Starting out from Middlebrook, we head towards the first two villages, Rivington and Abbey to eventually stop for a bite to eat in Wheelton village. From here we continue on through Chorley and back through Adlington village.
This route has several steep inclines but were there is an up there is always a down! It is a challenging route due to inclines and distance but nothing that a nice piece of cake at the pit stop can't soothe.
The route follows country lanes, main roads and the odd gravel path.
As always, please ensure a helmet is worn and that you carry a spare pump, inner tube, lots of liquids refreshments and of course money for snacks.
The pace will be set at 12-14 mph, not up hill though!.
