SN1 5AN

We start by following cycle tracks to get us alongside the Wilts-Berks canal and then carefully walk about 10 meters uphill to pick up the Old Railway Path and head towards the cycle track to the south of Great Western Way. We turn right and we have a bit of hill (alp de Toot) to get us through Toothill park and then follow cycle track north then east to return to Wharf Green via part of the southern Flyer

Its Wheelie Wednesday in Swindon with Loads of cycle related stuff happening at Wharf Green see https://www.swindontravelchoices.co.uk/event/wheelie-wednesday/ for more details about what else on between 11 and 5.

Most of this route is on traffic free cycle tracks or trails. We will hoever be crossing some roads using designated crossing point where applicable

No planned cafe stops on this five mile but there will be a few stops along the way to grab a drink from your water bottle

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather

We especially welcome newbies!
