Start of Loxley Road at the bus stop immediately after the pedestrian crossing/traffic lights.
If you fancy seeing some of our regular roads in a whole new (moon) light, this is the ride for you. On the night of a full moon we'll head up Loxley Road and through Low Bradfield, before climbing up Blindside Lane to Strines Moor. We'll call in at the Strines Inn for some refreshments before continuing up and down some more hills and returning via High Bradfield to Loxley Road.
NOTE: this is a night ride so you will need good lights (preferably two front and two rear, or at least spare batteries for each light). High-visibility or reflective clothing is also recommended.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
We recommend that you wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. Don’t forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone.
