Starting from - Start is at the small carpark on the A6 at the top of Factory Lane in Whittle le Woods, Chorley. This is free and there should be plenty of spaces but parking is also possible on Factory Lane. We head off down Factory lane to start through Cuerden. Please note the postcode is slightly out.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start to carry out a quick bike check. You must partake in this to be able to join the ride. PR6 7EA

Average speed will be around 10-12mph but we will stick together.

Join Alison and Michelle for a ride along the lanes of West Lancashire.

The route is mainly flat and follows some quiet lanes and occasional cycle trails. There will also be a couple of busy roads but they only last for short distances. We will have to occasionally cross them but we will manage these together. We pass through some lovely countryside so hopefully the weather will be kind

Our cafe stop will be the Velo cafe which is just over half way.

Please come equipped with spare inner tube and the ability to change it! Hele nets are not a leagal requirement but they must be worn to be able join the ride. Please make sure that you have completed a participant form, before the day. These can be acquired by emailing [email protected]
