Starting from - We’ll meet at the far end of the car park at Wenvoe Garden Centre (furthest away from the centre itself), I believe the toilets are still accessible here, but bring a mask if you might like to use them. I will be cycling out from Dinas Powys so let me know if you want to join me. CF5 6AD

Starting at Pugh’s Garden Village Wenvoe, We'll head towards Wenvoe and then up the big hill to St Lythan, then carry on down and then up to five mile lane, down to Llancarfan and along to Fonmon, then back through Rhoose, Porthkerry and Barry to Wenvoe. A lovely route - one of my favourites!

This ride is mostly on quiet lanes, although there are a couple of busier sections and several steep hills. We won't leave anyone behind and can regroup at the top of hills. It is a challenging ride, but at a steady pace.

Quiet lanes, some cycle paths. A few short sections on busier roads, but all the hills are on quiet roads!

There are toilets and a cafe in Porthkerry near the end of the ride. We'll stop here for coffee/lunch.

Make sure your bike is in good working order and bring clothes appropriate for the weather, extra layers are a good idea in case we have to wait for people at the top of hills which can be breezy! Please bring a spare inner tube and everything you need to be self sufficient if necessary. A mask is also a good idea and hand sanitiser.

We never leave anyone behind
