a steady ride without too many climbs but it will include a mix of surfaces, some of which may be a bit muddy if its been raining.

scenic ride across open countryside, through the ancient Cresswell Craggs, visit the cafe in Dukeries Garden Centre, ride a small section of the Welbeck Estate, pass Netherthorpe Airfield, and then follow the canal tow path along the Worksop to Chesterfield canal.

A good mix of gravel trails, tarmac lanes, dirt track in the Welbeck Estate, and a canal tow path with a mix of gravel and dirt sections.

Possible stop in Clowne if anyone needs it, scheduled stop at the cafe in Dukeries Garden Centre at 11 miles, and a stop at a cafe in Kiveton at the ride end.

Always wear a helmet and suitable clothing for the weather conditions. Please ensure you have a spare inner tube to suit your wheel size and carry a puncture repair kit along with some means of re inflating your tyre. You’ll need to bring a means of payment for the café stops or bring your own drink and snack with you

If this is your first time of riding with us please be assured you’ll be very welcome and we’ll be happy to have you join us. You’ll need to be used to riding uneven and mixed surfaces across country on tracks paths & trails, and you should not be afraid of getting a bit muddy or bothered about a bit of overgrown vegetation. We aim to make our rides fun, we like to explore off road routes and we always muck in if anyone needs any help or repairs etc. No need to be nervous, we don’t bite and we’ll do our best to make you feel part of the ride group 
