Starting from - The start point is a 5 minute bike ride from Watford Metropolitan line station and this line allows passengers with bikes.
We meet outside the Town Hall by the underpass north entrance on the pedestrian-only section of Hempstead Road, WD17 3EU

From the bustling Watford Junction to the tranquil Cassiobury Park, this route seamlessly connects key locations, serene open spaces and valued heritage sites, using the popular National Cycle Route 6, Ebury Way and a joined up network of cycle paths.
The route is largely traffic free except for several road crossings. On the Ebury Way at 2.4 miles the surface is surprisingly lumpy for half a mile so road bikes with skinny tyres may struggle.
All participants are expected to bring:
• A bike in good working order with tyres pumped to the correct pressure. Please conduct a pre-ride safety check on your bike.
• A cycle helmet.
• Carry at least a spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers.
• Refreshments as there is no refreshment stop.
• Dress for the expected weather.
