This ride is to reconnoitre the Watford Green Loop, a continuous cycling and walking route spanning 6.5 miles that encircles Watford town centre.

From the bustling Watford Junction to the tranquil Cassiobury Park, this route seamlessly connects key locations, serene open spaces and valued heritage sites, using the popular National Cycle Route 6, Ebury Way and a joined up network of cycle paths.

The route is traffic free except for a few road crossings.

All participants are expected to bring:
• A bike in good working order with tyres pumped to the correct pressure. Please conduct a pre-ride safety check on your bike.
• A cycle helmet.
• Carry at least a spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers.
• Refreshments as there is no refreshment stop.
• Dress for the expected weather.
