This route has been designed to combine a range of hill climb challenges, through mainly quiet, scenic country lanes, with a few busier sections.

The ride heads out from Watford Cycle Hub through Flaunden and Ley Hill through the country lanes following through Ashley Green before the coming down from Wigginton to Aldbury. The climb takes the ride over Ivinghoe Beacon and down to Ringshall to pass the Ashridge Estate. The route continues to return towards Berkhamsted, Whelpley Hill, Sarratt and Croxley Green. This route has just under 820 metres of climbing / 2686 ft.
You and your bike need to be in good working order for this ride.
