Watford Cycle Hub: Best Lanes & Bridleways: Flaunden & Sarratt

A 20 mile tour deluxe taking in some of the loveliest lanes and a number of little known bridleways which cut thru into the countryside to take you off the beaten track...There will be a chance to stop for an ice cream at the idyllic Watercress Farm at Sarratt Bottom: £2 a tub of ice cream; £2 for a fresh bag of watercress - both highly recommended! :) This ride is mountain bike suited, though if the weather is dry in the run up to the ride, you could get away with riding a hybrid, though you may need to walk a couple of short sections. Do bring a spare inner tube just in case...Watford Cycle Hub sell them if you need. Aim to arrive around 2:15pm for 2:30pm departure.
