Setting off from Fatfield we'll cross the river and head up to Elba Park via cycle paths. Then through Elba Park with some short sections of road riding and into and around the outer shared paths of Herrington Country Park. Crossing Chester Road at Penshaw Tea Rooms we'll head through Penshaw and down to The Old Schoolhouse cafe for a rest and snacks.
Then back down to Cox Green to recross the river and cycle back along part of the C2C and back to the Arts Centre.

An easy Breeze of loop of about 12 miles from Fatfield Arts Centre to keep you riding through the winter.

A mix of cycle routes and quiet roads.

We'll plan in a stop for warm drinks and snacks but feel free to bring your own snacks if you want.

Helmets are advisable. Please wrap up well and come prepared for the weather conditions which are very changeable at the moment. Waterproofs are always useful just in case. Make sure that your bike is in good working condition and that you bring along a spare inner tube that fits your wheels along with some tools.

We especially welcome newbies!
