41.29 miles, 1,272 ft of elevation, not many hills for the distance.
You need to be able to manage the mileage, and be able to keep up with the group and able to cycle about 12mph. any hills, we will always take our time, and allow time to regroup. We will have regular drink stops along the way. Good practice for anyone, wanting to sustain longer distances.

Starting from WPE Gamlingay, Cockayne Hatley, Ashwell, Hinxworth, Langford, Broom, Southill, Northill, Moggerhanger, Sandy via old railway line, Everton, back to WPE. pretty route through some quiet Bedfordshire villages.

Mainly quiet country roads, some busier roads for a short while. Old Varsity rail line track, all well tarmaced.

Stopping at Jordans Mill for coffee, or early lunch. At the end if wish at Waresley park Estate.

Helmet, means to mend a puncture, lights and bright clothing. Snack, drinks bottle. Money/card for cafe
