This ride starts at Herne Hill but returns via Peckham and Catford.
We will ride over to Wandsworth common and drop down to the river at Wandsworth bridge. Then we'll follow the Thames path to Battersea park. After a circuit of the park we'll have a refreshment stop.
The route is a bit undulating as far as Wandsworth common, then flat until the Schlepp up Peckham Rye.
You should be a confident cyclist in the possibly hostile traffic we may encounter and used to riding in a group.
