We will head out of Usk along the Abergavenny road past the windmill and over the chainbridge. After we reach the Old Abergavenny road we will head into some quiet lanes to Great Oak to avoid much of the busier road. We will re-join this road a bit further along for the last 2 miles or so to the castle.
After a well earned rest we will head out of Raglan along the Chepstow road for a couple of miles before turning right and heading back towards Usk along the Monmouth road. Just before we cross over the dual carriageway, we will turn left and use some quiet lanes to loop to Llanllowell and back to Usk thus avoiding the busy main road into town.

A nice circular ride from Usk town centre to check out the newly reopened café at Raglan Castle

This is an all road route. Some quiet and some a bit busier so you must be confident to ride on these. There aren't any really big hills but is definitely undulating.

Our stop is at the newly reopened café at Raglan Castle which is offering 10% off for cyclists!

Please wear a helmet and bring along a lock and some money for the rest stop. Also packing a spare tube would be a sensible idea just in case.

We never leave anyone behind
