Starting from - We meet in the car park of Upton Court Park, near the changing rooms. The car park is free up to 3 hours, but we wont be back in time for that. After that it is £5, payable on the Ringgo app, or you may be able to park in surrounding residential roads.
If you do park in the car park, you need to register with the app when you get there, even if you return within the 3 hours. SL3 7LU

We will go along the Jubilee river almost to Maidenhead, over the river on the A4, and then quieter roads to Cookham. Then mostly different roads back to Maidenhead, Bray, Dorney and Eton Wick back to the start. The route will be pretty flat. The route may change if circumstances dictate.

This will be mostly along quiet roads, apart from a stretch of the Jubilee river. We meet by the changing rooms in the Upton court park car park (note this car park is no longer free).

Quite a long stretch of the Jubilee river, but then mostly quiet rides, apart from short stretches of the busy A4 near Maidenhead.

Planning to stop for refreshments at Costa, near Cookham station, although there is another cafe nearby.

This ride is not suitable for road bikes unless they have wide tyres (32+). Hybrid or mountain bikes are best. Riders should bring a serviceable bike, helmet, and a spare inner tube in case of punctures. Please wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions, which may be changeable. Please also bring water and maybe a snack, and money/card for the cafe if you want to use it.

The pace is described as steady, due to the distance, but we are not racing. We go at the pace of the slowest riders (which will likely be me), and never leave anyone behind.
