Starting from - We will meet outside the Tredegar Arms pub by the roundabout in Bassaleg. NP10 8LE. What three words: resonated .justified. tolerable. There is parking on the slope that goes down to the river alongside the churchyard. No toilets but we pass one within a mile. NP10 8LE

This is a short(ish) ride of 19 miles mostly alongside the picturesque canal. Watch out for ducklings, heron and kingfishers! We will be stopping at the Cwcarn Visitor centre cafe. At present, only drinks, ice-cream and cakes are available. After a short break we will return to Bassaleg along the same route.

This is a picturesque ride up the Brecon to Monmouth Canal.

We will be mainly be cycling along the canal path and designated cycle routes.

We will stop at the Cwmcarn Visitor Centre cafe.

Please make sure you have a spare inner tube just in case of the dreaded puncture!
