train assist, Twyford to Slough

From the car park in Upton Court Park, we will cycle to Slough Station, to catch the 10.47 train to Twyford, arriving at 11.00 am (single fare £9.30). We will meet up on the SOUTH side of the station, on Hurst Road (A327).
Some people may want to go straight to either Slough Station or Twyford, or catch the train at other stations. If so, please let me know.
From there we will cycle, mostly on country lanes, via Hurst, to Moss End Garden village, where there is a cafe. From there, we continue via Warfield, Oakley Green and Eton, back to Upton Court Park. There will be the occasional stretch of A and B road, but mostly country lanes, with the option of some offroad if it is dry enough.
Estimate about 23 miles from Twyford back to Upton, with about 500 feet of climbing.
Please bring a functional bike, appropriate clothing for the conditions, helmet, drink and the means to fix a puncture. You will need money/card for the train fare, and also the cafe if you want to buy any refreshment.
The ride is suitable for bikes other than narrow tyred road bikes.
The ride is billed as steady because of the distance, but will be easy paced in terms of speed, and we never leave anyone behind.
