The route goes north from Clare and then on through Lavenham, eastwards as far as Bildeston, then heading back via Long Melford. Plenty of photo opportunities! Total elevation is about 2,200 feet.

Likely pace will be around 12-13 miles per hour, depending on the group.

This is a lovely undulating route through quiet parts of Suffolk, passing pretty villages and hamlets.

We'll be mainly on quiet country lanes.

The refreshment stop will be at Cafe Como in Brent Eleigh, a popular cyclists' cafe.

Helmets essential. Please bring clothes appropriate to the weather, lights if possible, water, snacks, payment for refreshments, and a spare inner tube (or tubeless equipment).
