Tour De Villages

This ride commences at the ECO Centre, on the Esplanade, Southport, opposite Victoria Park. The ride then proceeds through Kings Gardens, along the promenade before turning down towards the beach heading out of Southport along the coast road. We then viosit the villages of Banks, Tarleton and Hesketh Bank before taking refreshment at Mere Brow, we then follow the country lanes through the villages of Holmswood, Burscough, Scarisbrick before returning to Soutyhport via Churchtown, Hesketh Park to the promenade and Kings Gardens back to the start. We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 14 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together. Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group! Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you. Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time, So that we are able to get away at the stated start time
