The FC's West Lancs Weekday Riders

This is an addition to the FC's main group that hosts weekday rides to supplement the Sunday group rides and is aimed at riders who are looking to get out and ride through the week . If this is what you are looking for, join up, what have you got to lose ? We will ride all over the West Lancashire, whether it be Southport, Preston, Burscough, Leyland, Liverpool, with occasional trips to Wirral. Also Fylde and Cheshire. If any members have any ideas for rides they would like to do, let me know and we can look into it so we keep the rides fresh. Please note, this is a social cycling group and not a cycling club as such , you do not need an expensive bike to ride with us , as long as you keep your bike reasonably well maintained you'll be fine. As a group we start together, ride together and finish together. All rides are listed with distance and speed and will generally be ridden a a relaxed pace. All rides do include a cake stop, so if you can recommend good cakes let me know and I will try to work a route to fit it in. Some rides will be suitable for all bikes whilst some will be listed as hybrid / mountain / cx bikes. Our rides will be around 20+ miles up to a maximum of 50 miles Beginners to experienced riders, we will have a ride for everyone to enjoy, I look forward to riding with you soon
