Join us for a ride to Tim's Cafe at Thorp Arch, its a greasy spoon but you won't be disappointed
Leaving the car park we turn out left onto Arthington lane heading up past King lane we turn right onto Black Hill lane to the junction, left onto Eccup lane then drop down to Weardley, joining Otley road to Harewood Bridge (this can be a busy stretch of road), left over the bridge for a mile on A61 turning right onto Swindon lane, then another right onto Spring lane and onto Kearby, Netherby, Chapel Hill, Clapgate, Sicklinghall, Linton and Collingham, where we nip round the back of the shops picking up Jewitt lane and up to Thorner lane where we turn left and onto Bramham over the A1M, then its onto Clifford, Boston Spa and Thorp Arch where we join the cycle path into the estate for our lunch break
https://www.facebook.com/TimsCafeThorpArch/?locale=en_GBLeaving the estate we pick up the cycle path heading over Newton Kyme Viaduct coming out on A657, turning left then its right onto Rudgate, coming out on Toulson lane we turn right pass Tadcaster Grammar School, then left onto Warren lane/Spen Common lane, at the junction we turn right onto cycle path and down to Bramham, left and across A1M on Thorner road and onto East Rigton, Bardsey, Shadwell, round the back of Leeds Grammar School, across A61 and pass Eccup Reservoir and back to Golden Acre
Not the usual hard hilly ride, there are still some climbs but a change of scenery for the Wharfe and Aire Valleys
Usual, spare inner tubes, pennies for lunch etc
