Time For Tockholes

We'll start at 10.30 from Witton Park Car Park and meet the rest of the riders at Tockholes Village Hall at 11am. This ride is only just over 20 miles long, but it has a start that should give us a great fitness boost. The first 7 miles takes us over past Tockholes Village & Winter hill. There are a couple of steep bits in this climb & don't worry if you feel you may prefer to walk these bits - So will I! Once we've done all that hard work we can appreciate some magnificent scenery as we curve over the moors & drop down to Brinscall & from there on to Wheelton, where we'll stop in the village for tea & cakes at the village café. After a well earned rest it's off to Brindle, Hoghton Bottoms, Pleasington & through Witton Park back to the start point.
