The tour starts in Leyland taking in the sights en route via Buckshaw Village, Astley Park, Chorley, Eccleston, Wrightington, Mawdesley Village, Croston & finishing inside the grounds of Worden Hall.

The Delph Diving Centre Café will be our stop mid-way for elevenses before our route up & down Parbold Hill. We'll stop for a late lunch around 13:15 at El Tano Wines inside Worden Park.

A mixture of busy A & B roads, residential streets, quiet & sometimes narrow country lanes, shared cycle paths, cycleways & cycle lanes. N.B. HILLY AREA AROUND PARBOLD with undulating stretches of road requiring only a good level of fitness, low (easy) gears to climb ascents of MAX gradient 5% & careful braking on steep descents of MIN gradient -11% after Parbold Hill Viewpoint.

Marco the chef & sommelier of El Tano will have prepared some authentic Argentine empanadas plus his signature biscoff & dulce de leche (like butterscotch) pudding. Also there're extensive wine lists to accompany your treats. "Yerba Mate" (Argentine green tea) is available as teabag.

For those coming by rail, a final 5-minute bike ride follows to catch one of the regular trains towards Manchester Airport.
