The 8 loop at Gisburn is a purpose built red graded trail with some harder short, optional black and orange sections. Expect technical features, boardwalks, rocks and slightly steep chutes.
Helmets are mandatory for this group ride. Gisburn Forest Hub recommends Full Face helmets and body armour for orange sections of trail (you don't have to ride these sections).
