The Traffic Free Cycling Club, will be taking the short ride down the Grand Union Canal to the historic Cranford Park, with it's ancient woodlands. At 11am we will meet up with the Hillingdon Green Spaces Team for the Tree Identification Walk, for about 1 hour, seeing giant redwoods, lime trees, and the oldest Oak Tree. Following the walk we will rejoin the canal at the zigzag bridge, and follow the canal , before jumping off into Stockley Park, where we pop into the local wetherspoon for a beverage and a bite to eat. This ride will go ahead unless there is torrential rain predicted for all day. If you would like to check before leaving or want more information about the ride, then please contact me on 07867824809.
