Following on from the TFCC ride to St. Albans and beyond from a couple of weeks ago, this ride will follow the same route we took and ended up at Hemel Hempstead at a total of 60 Miles. So Abi and I thought could we have made it all the way back to West Drayton (approx. a further 25 miles).

This route will be mainly off road with a few hills thrown in at the start to keep us warm on the potentially cold early morning start. Once at Rickmansworth we will take the Ebury Way to Watford and then pick up the Alban Way to St. Albans through to Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City where we then pick up the Ayot Greenway to Harpenden and finally the Nickey Line to Hemel Hempstead to the grand union canal

Oh there better had be stops along the way, starting with the first one at Lock 81 at Rickmansworth, St. Alban Park for Lunch they do great soups, and a recommended place near the start of the Nickey Line in Harpenden.

Please bring with you a bike suitable for off road riding, puncture repair kit, lights, sense of adventure and humour.

Although we do welcome first timer on our rides, this ride will be really challenging, and all riders that sign up will need to have a back up plan if they need to escape from the ride early due to any unforeseen circumstances.
