TFCC - Gutteridge Woods & Northalla Hills (Approx 20 Miles)

TFCC - Traffic Free Cycling Club rides all start from West Drayton Station, we use the network of canal tow paths, cycle paths, wooded areas and tracks to keep us as off road as possible. This allows for social interaction whilst riding. Due to the terrain we encounter this group is not about speed, mountain bikes are recommended but some riders do manage on hydbrid bikes. However please don't come along on your road bike with skinny tyres, or if you don't like mud as there is usually some mud along the route somewhere. This ride will be an exploration ride to Gutteridge Woods and Northalla Hills (you can see from the A40) although we have done this route before it's not a regular one so the route will be fairly improvised. All riders are welcome, the pace is usually between 8 to 10 mph. There will be stops along the way, including a lunch stop of upto 1 hour. We stop at the top of every hill to ensure the group stays together and where possible we keep the slower riders up front. We aim to be back for 4pm, but that is of course if there are any delays due to punctures, late starting etc. If you need to leave the ride early, or need to be back at certain time please let me know at the start of the ride. We will try and accommodate your requirements but if possible try and keep the whole day free it's great to return with everyone completing the ride.
